"Srimanthudu" is set for its first world TV premiere on Zee Telugu on 8 November. The Mahesh Babu starrer is likely to beat the record of "Baahubali", which fetched the highest TRP in 2015.

The hype and promotion of "Srimanthudu" had generated a huge demand for its satellite rights. Zee Telugu has reportedly acquired its television rights for Rs 12 crore. It is said to be the highest for the TV rights for a Mahesh Babu's film and the second highest price for a Telugu movie after "Baahubali: The Beginning".

The channel has planned to premiere "Srimanthudu" on Sunday evening. They have confirmed the news on the official Twitter handle of Zee Telugu. They tweeted: "Get ready for the world Television Premiere of #SrimanthuduNov8th." They added, "Don't miss the World Television Premiere of #SrimanthuduOnZeeTelugu. Nov 8 @ 6.00 pm, @MythriOfficial".

"Srimanthudu" is a family drama film, written and directed by Koratala Siva. The movie is about a multi-millionaire guy, who adopts a complete village and tries to bring change in the people. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film offers a beautiful message that has appealed to the family audience.

Mahesh Babu has played the rich guy in "Srimanthudu", while Shruti Haasan appears as his love interest. Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj, Sukanya and Harish Uthaman are in the supporting roles in the movie, which has Devi Sri Prasad's music and R Madhi's cinematography.

Released in theatres on 7 August, "Srimanthudu" has received positive reviews from both critics and viewers. The film has also done fantastic collection at the box office. It has beaten many records and become the second all-time highest Telugu grosser after "Baahubali: The Beginning".

Experts from the industry said "Srimanthudu" will definitely take the small screen by storm. Mahesh Babu's "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", which is also a family drama, got 20 TRP ratings from its world premiere on MAA TV and got the third all time highest rating after "Baahubali" and "Magadheera". It is likely to beat the record of "Baahubali".
