"Srimanthudu" received unanimous positive response from both critics and audience around the world and the word-of-mouth factor took the business upwards with the film registering an average of 95 percent occupancy in all centres.

However, its Saturday collection was lower when compared to its Friday business. It registered over 30 percent dip in numbers, which was mainly due two reasons.

Firstly, the first day collection also included the numbers of its business in premiere shows held on Thursday. Secondly, the makers of the film had several extra shows, which started at 4.00 am on Friday in many place in Andhra Pradesh, Telanagana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other parts of the globe.

Made on a budget of Rs 50+ crore, "Srimanthudu" has collected approximately Rs 50 crore at the worldwide box office in two days. The Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan starrer has become the second faster Rs 50 crore gross Telugu movie in 2015 after S S Rajamouli's "Baahubali" the Beginning", which achieved the feat on its opening day.
