After a brief pause, buzz around the new "Spider-Man 2017" has gone wild again. Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) reboot is expected to be released only in 2017, the film has already been garnering a lot of attention. And now, director Jon Watts has dropped some major teasers about the film's plot.

"Spider-Man 2017", starring Tom Holland as the new Peter Parker, has been in the news especially after his appearance in "Captain America: Civil War" was confirmed. But what got fans really excited was when the full-body sketch of the new Spider-Man was revealed through a leak, teasing Spidey's expected look in the reboot.

As you may have read, Holland has already finished filming his supposed appearance in "Captain America: Civil War". And now, it looks like he is slowly teasing about his "Spider-Man" role. Recently, he posted a photo of his new haircut on Instagram and fans have already started speculating that his look is very similar to the "Ultimate Spider-Man" version of Peter Parker.

But it was director Jon Watts who has dropped the most interesting clue about the plot of the upcoming MCU film. He has said there is a possibility that Miles Morales might appear in the reboot. He said he would not be able to reveal much, but added that the story was being written.

"I can't talk about that, because, you know, that will reveal too much. We're still writing the story. We haven't finished all the way through the story yet, so who knows," he said.

Taking a cue from what Jon said, Movie Pilot has speculated that Morales' inclusion could lead the MCU film to the "Spider-Verse" storyline. The report justified this by saying this is a huge possibility because Miles and Parker are the main stars in the "Spider-Verse".

Comic book fans may already know that the "Spider-Verse" story in the comics features Peter Parker (Marvel Universe) joining an army of different Spider-Men from alternate dimensions as they fight Morlun and his family in order to save themselves.

We will know whether these plot rumours prove to be true only when the "Spider-Man" reboot releases on 28 July, 2017.
