After Sonakshi Sinha's big brother Kussh Sinha finished off his big week with plush wedding celebrations in Mumbai, cute couple Soha Ali Khan-Kunal Khemu entered wedlock on Sunday morning, 25 January, away from the prying eyes of the media and in the presence of loved ones.
While Soha looked absolutely gorgeous in an exquisite coral-gold lehenga, Kunal complemented his newly-wedded wife by wearing a self-patterned achkan along with a silk turban. The couple happily posed for shutterbugs as soon as the vows were taken.
It was a private affair mostly because the bride believed in keeping things simple and reportedly said marriage was more important than the wedding day. "Our families decided the date - his parents and my mother. I am never one to dream about the day since I was a young girl. I am more interested in the marriage than the wedding. But as the day approaches, I'm quite excited. It's a big step," she told Mumbai Mirror a few days ahead of the big day.
Meanwhile, along with a cute message "I married my best friend today", Soha posted a photo of her and Kunal on Twitter. In other news, apart from the quiet wedding, the reception too isn't going to be a starry affair and will be flocked by some near and dear ones.
Soha and Kunal first met on the sets of Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru's "99" and the love-birds have been in a live-in relationship for over two years now. The couple took big step only last year when Kunal popped the big question while they were holidaying in Paris.

Unfortunately, the two will not be off to honeymoon anytime soon as Soha is schedule to begin "Ghayal 2" from 2 February. We'll plan something fun when the weather in Europe is better, perhaps in summer," she informed.
