Akkineni Nagarjuna's "Soggade Chinni Nayana" (SCN) and Sharwanand's "Express Raja" have continued to fare well at the US box office in the second week.

"Soggade Chinni Nayana" and "Express Raja" opened to fantastic response in North America and did well on the following days. The two movies collected $656,247 and $315,547, respectively, at the US box office in the first week. Trade experts predicted that Nagarjuna and Sharwanand's films would continue to do well and surpass the marks of $1 million and $0.5 million in the second week.

Tollywood did not have any new release this week, but the business of "Soggade Chinni Nayana" was affected by Bollywood movie "Airlift", which forced it out from 30 cinema halls in its second week. The Nagarjuna-starrer has grossed $120,693 from 50 screens at the US box office in its second weekend. Its 10-day US total collection stands at $776,940 (Rs 5.27 crore).

"Express Raja" has received decent response and collected $65,996 from 40 screens at the US box office in its second weekend. Its 11-day total collection stands $381,543 (Rs 2.59 crore).

India's leading film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Telugu film #SoggadeChinniNayana - USA - Week 2: Fri $ 30,225, Sat $ 60,503, Sun $ 29,965. Total: $ 776,940 [₹ 5.27 cr]. @RentrakIndia (sic)" He added, "Telugu film #ExpressRaja - USA - Week 2: Fri $ 16,813, Sat $ 30,875, Sun $ 18,308. Total: $ 381,543 [₹ 2.59 cr]. @RentrakIndia (sic)"

"Soggade Chinni Nayana" and "Express Raja" have raked in an average of $2413 and $1,649 from each screen. Their per-screen average is bigger than that of "Nannaku Prematho". In its second weekend, the Junior NTR-starrer has added $133,936 (from 84 screens) to its 12-day US total collection $1,923,122 (Rs 13.03 crore). Its per-screen average stands at $1,594.

However, the current trends show that both Nagarjuna and Sharwanand's films will not cross the marks of $1 million and $0.5 million, respectively, in the second week.
