"Kaaki Sattai" is Anirudh's seventh album, while it is his third with Sivakarthikeyan after "Ethir Neechal" and "Maan Karate." The composer is on a roll with back-to-back successful albums including the Vijay starrer "Kaththi." There are big expectations on "Kaaki Sattai" songs and it needs to be seen if the composer will impress the audience with the tracks.

After crooning for "Varuthpadatha Vaalibar Sangam," Sivakarthikeyan had rendered a song in "Kaaki Sattai" along with Anirudh.

Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar, "Kaaki Sattai" is touted to be an action entertainer. Sivakarthikeyan plays the cop role in the film, while Sridivya appears as the female lead. The film's other cast members include Prabhu, Manobala, Imman Annachi, Vidyulekha Raman, Yuvina Parthavi and Vijay Raaz among others. It is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Madan's Escape Artists Motion Pictures.

"Kakki Sattai" will be Sivakarthikeyan's first release of 2015. The actor is doing well in the industry with back-to-back hits to his credit. Fans of the actor will be expecting him to give one more hit in the form of "Kakki Sattai." The first look posters of the film have received good response from the fans and the film's songs are also expected to boost the expectations surrounding the project.

The action entertainer is joining the Pongal race along with other biggies like Vikram's "I," Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" and Vishal's "Aambala." With so many releases being planned for the festival period, it might be difficult for each of them to grab enough number of screens. It remains to be seen if all the films will make it theatres or if any them will back out of the race.
