"Madras" has topped the list of Tamil movie nominations for SIIMA Awards 2015, beating other big-ticket movies such as "Kaththi", "Jigarthanda and "Velaiyilla Pattathari".
"Madras" leads with 12 nominations, while "Kaththi" is in second place with 8 nominations. "Jigarthanda", "Velaiyilla Pattathari" and "Goli Soda" are at third position with 7 nominations each. These five movies have also been nominated in the Best Film category.
The organisers of the fourth edition of SIIMA Awards announced the nominations list, which was finalised by a panel of veteran judges from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries.
The winners will be selected through online voting, which will be open to the public on 18 June. The awards will be given away in Dubai on 6 and 7 August.
