Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale" and Ranveer Singh's "Bajirao Mastani" will hit screens on 18 December, but before that, both the films made it to the censor board on the same day.

And surprisingly, both the films are now passed the censor board without any cuts.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra is a period drama. The film has got 'U' certificate from the censor board.

On the other hand, "Dilwale" has received 'U/A' from the censor board, according to 9XE.com.  Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film features Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

Both the movies, which will clash at the box office, were screened at the censor board on the same day.

There were reports that Shah Rukh's "Dilwale" failed to make it to the censor board, as it was not ready on time.

"The film's producers were keen and insistent that they get an appointment for certification on Wednesday. We accommodated them. In fact, both Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani were scheduled to be viewed by us on the same day. Unfortunately, Dilwale couldn't make it in time," a source from the board told DNA.

However, the latest report suggests that the film has passed the censor board test without any cuts.

Interestingly, Salman Khan's family drama "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", directed by Sooraj Barjatya, had to undergo three cuts in November.
