Selena Gomez has finally shared some details about her relationship with The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, without mentioning his name anywhere.

"I'm the kind of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl. I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It's just how I operate. With that comes a lot, ya know? Clearly you understand," the former Disney star said during a radio interview with Miami's Power 96.5 FM.

The 24-year-old It Ain't Me hit-maker also told the show host that she really wants to spend every moment of her life with Abel. "I tried to say that I wanted to, I was like planning a trip, and I was saying like, 'I'm going to leave,' because I was trying to get someone really cute to tell me to stay," she admitted.

The Heart Wants What It Wants singer even declined an offer by the show host, who told her that a nice tan guy is waiting for her outside. "Oh, I don't know about that! I'm taken," she politely said.

Talking about her music, Justin Bieber's former girlfriend said that it has become more personal. "When I released The Heart Wants What It Wants. I think that was the real shift for me because it was the first time that I was actually sharing where I was personally and then I felt like my voice kind of became stronger. And that to me is what I always represent with my fans and my girls," she explained.

The Weeknd's lover also encouraged her fans to follow their hearts and said, "I always want to encourage that. Your voice is everything and a lot of people get scared to say what they're feeling, or vulnerability looks like weakness. And none of that is true. I think it makes a woman beautiful and strong. And that's something I think I really had to learn and I'm still learning."

Gomez even confirmed that she is not collaborating with The Weeknd for any musical project. "No, no we're not. It's not true!" she said. According to her, the latest hit Bad Liar features honeymoon phase of a relationship.
