Pawan Kalyan's "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" and Mahesh Babu's "Brahmotsavam" have fetched whopping amount from their satellite rights, which are said to be the fourth and second highest prices, respectively, after "Baahubali" and "Srimanthudu."

"Sardaar Gabbar Singh" and "Brahmotsavam" are the much-talked-about and highly-anticipated Telugu movies of 2016. Both the films have been creating ripples in the media for all good reasons, ever since they were announced. They are gearing up to release as summer treats on different dates. Their pre-release business is now going on in a full swing and there is a great demand for their TV rights.

The satellite rights of "Attarintiki Daredi" had fetched Rs 9 crore, which is said to be the price for a film starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The Power Star's latest movie is expected to break this record. Many channels are in the race to buy the TV rights of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh." A Telugu channel has offered a whopping Rs 15 crore for the rights of the film, reports India Glitz.

Mahesh Babu's previous releases included "1: Nenokkadine," "Aagadu" and "Seethama Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu." His last outing "Srimanthudu" has raised the bar by fetching Rs 17 crore (Rs 12 crore for Telugu and Rs 5 crore for Hindi version) from the sale of its satellite rights to Zee Telugu. The movie has registered 21.24 TRP points, which is the third highest rating for a Telugu movie.

The TRP ratings of "Srimanthudu" has created lot of demand for the satellite rights of "Brahmotsavam," which is touted to be a family entertainer. If we are to go by the buzz in the T-town, Zee Telugu has acquired TV rights for a whopping price amidst a tough competition. The deal amount is likely to be around Rs 20 crore, reports Gulte.

The makers of both the movies are expected to make an official announcement about the sale. If we are to go by the said numbers, "Brahmotsavam" will land at the second place in the list of 10 movies with highest price for TV rights, while "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" graces the fourth place.
