Sanjay Dutt was released from Pune's Yerwada jail Feb. 25, Thursday, after serving a 40-month sentence, and it appears he's all pumped to take charge of the life he left behind. Apparently, he'll be attending closest friend Salman Khan's party in Panvel.

"Sanjay Dutt and his family will take a break from Mumbai and head for Salman's Panvel farmhouse. Salman too plans to spend quality time pepping up Sanjay before he leaves to Haryana for the next schedule of Sultan. And yes they will have a lavish party with close family and friends in attendance," a source told BollywoodLife.

That's not all, he will apparently look at scripts that he had heard from his industry friends while serving term. "He just wants to focus on his career as an actor and nothing else — that's what he told me two months ago," director-producer Subhash Ghai told The Asian Age.

Meanwhile, his fans are rejoicing and are celebrating his freedom in their own little ways. Auto rickshaw driver Sandeep Bacche will be offering free rides to commuters in Bandra all day. He said he hadn't put on footwear ever since his idol was sent to prison, adding that he finally plans on putting them on.

Bhendi Bazaar's Noor Mohammadi restaurant will be serving "Chicken Sanju Baba" in honour of the actor's release for free (only on Feb. 25). Owner Khaled Hakim told the leading daily that since it was Sanjay's recipe, they decided on calling it that.

Sanjay, in all probabilities, will first visit the Siddhivinayak Temple and his mother's (Nargis Dutt) grave at Marine Lines once he lands in Mumbai, reports NDTV. He was convicted in the 1993 Mubai serial blasts case.
