Earlier this year, Samsung released a limited edition Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man series in select markets.

Now, the company is reportedly planning to launch another Marvel universe's super hero Ant-Man series, but this time with S6 Edge+ model.

Technology blog, SamMobile citing a Chinese tipster has claimed that Samsung has renewed partnership with Marvel Entertainment to build the collector's edition of Ant-Man, a founding member of the super-hero team –'The Avengers'.

Samsung is yet to respond to the reports. Samsung has a bonhomie association with Marvel Universe. Both have been known to use each other for promotion.

For instance, in the last installment of The Avengers (3): Age of Ultron (released on 1 May, 2015), Samsung got some screen space for advertising its smartphones and in exchange, Samsung released dedicated wall-paper themes of The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye for Galaxy S6 series. Later, the company officially released a limited edition crimson and gold hued Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man series.

It came with the gold hued Iron Man's trademark armoured head mask insignia engraved on the rear-side. The phone package contains matching wireless charger, identical to the power source (Arc Reactor) we see on the chest of the armour suited Avenger.

Similarly, the Galaxy Edge+ too will come with matching red and dark blue colour pattern and the Ant-Man's mask engraving on the back. However, the internal hardware will remain same as inside the original model.
