South Korean consumer electronics company Samsung launched pro-selfie camera smartphones Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in China.
The unique selling proposition of Galaxy J7 and J5 is camera. Both house a 13mp camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, auto-focus on the rear. On the front, they ship with feature-rich 5mp 85-degree wide-angle camera which can extend up to 120-degree; to enrich photography experience, the camera is equipped with LED flash to get perfect picture even in low-light conditions.
Both the devices run on the same Android 5.1 Lollipop OS backed by 1.5GB RAM.
The key difference between Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 is that while the former features a bigger 5.5-inch HD screen and an efficient 64-bit class Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor with 3000 mAh battery, the latter ships with smaller 5.0-inch display , Snapdragon 410 quad-core CPU and 2600 mAh cell.
Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J5 availability and price details:
The Galaxy J7 and J5 will be initially sold in China for 1,798 CNY (around $290/€255/₹18,480) and 1,398 CNY (around $225/€199/₹14,370), respectively.
As of now, there is no word on when Samsung will release these smartphones in other markets.
