Samsung has lined up several smartphone launches and we are getting a hint of them right now. Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is one of the many launches the company has planned and has been leaked more than once, giving us a peek of what's coming.

In the latest news, as reported by Android Headlines, the Galaxy C7 Pro passed FCC's certification, hinting at an official launch sooner than later. While details of the handset's key specs weren't mentioned in the FCC listing, it confirmed that the phone will pack a 3,300mAh battery.

The Galaxy C series is primarily targeted towards the Chinese market, and judging by Samsung's past actions, the Galaxy C7 Pro will see its first launch in China and that could be it. The latest certification follows TENAA's approval, which is essential before getting any product released in China.

Speaking of the specs, the handset is rumoured to come with a 5.7-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, a Snapdragon 626 octa-core chipset and Adreno 506 GPU. On the camera side of things, Samsung will use a 16MP sensor for the rear and the same on the front. Selfie lovers are going to admire this phone.

The Galaxy C7 Pro was also spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site and AnTuTu, where it was confirmed that it would run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The device was also spotted on Zauba, an import and export tracking site in India, hinting at the possibility of the handset's release outside China.

Samsung hasn't confirmed the existence of the new Galaxy C7 Pro or the C5 Pro, which reports suggest will be launched together on January 21, 2017. But we are hoping to see some promotional posters hinting at the impending launches.
