It seems Samsung has a long line of mid-range devices to be launched before the arrival of its flagship dubbed as the Galaxy S8. Two handsets that are expected to be released this season are the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro. It has now emerged that the two devices will hit the stores soon.

The Galaxy C7 Pro has been cleared by the Chinese telecom equipment certification authority TENAA and received WiFi Alliance (WFA) certification, giving a clear hint that its launch is not far off. Samsung is yet to announce the release date of the handset, but reports claim that it would be launched along with its sibling Galaxy C5 Pro in January, contradicting earlier claims that they could be released in December.

Interestingly, a Weibo user has claimed in a post that the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro will be available for purchase on January 21. We don't know how far it is true, but it can turn out right as the devices have been in news for a while now.

The South Korean technology giant has been tight-lipped on the handsets, but they may be exclusive to the Chinese market like their predecessors Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 that were not released in other countries, including India.

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has been spotted on Indian imports and exports tracking site Zauba with model number SM-C5010 and a price tag of Rs 20,483 (price may differ when it is released). It is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a 3GB RAM.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro has been listed on AnTuTu benchmarking site with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, and a 4GB RAM. It is also expected to sport a 5.7-inch screen with 1080 pixels, mount a 16MP main camera and front-snapper, and come packed with a 64GB internal memory.
