Specifications and price details of the rumored Galaxy Alpha series smartphones have surfaced online ahead of the official launch.
Samsung community website, SamMobile has gotten hold of the internal document of Galaxy Alpha series A3, A5 and A7, which reveals features and pricing structure of the devices.
Among the three devices, A7 is said to be the costliest with price expected to range between $450 and $500 (around €353-€392/ ₹28,000-₹31,000) and due its high price, Samsung has reportedly planned to release Alpha A7 in limited regions.
On the other hand, Alpha A3 is expected to fall in the mid-range category with price ranging between $350 and $400 (around €275-315/₹22,500- ₹24,500), whereas the A5 is said to be priced north of $400 (more than €315/₹25,000).
As far as specifications of Alpha series devices are concerned, A7 is said to feature similar specs seen in the already released premium Galaxy Alpha model, sans some key features, which have specifically been watered down, to keep the device in the upper-midrange segment.
Galaxy Alpha A5 reportedly features 5.0-inch HD display, Snapdragon 400 series CPU, 13.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel camera on the front and 3200 mAh battery.
The most affordable Galaxy Alpha phone, A3 will sport a 4.8-inch qHD (960x540p) screen, Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, Adreno 306 GPU, 8.0-megapixel camera on the rear-side and a 5.0-megapixel snapper on the front.
All three Galaxy Alpha A-series devices are expected to debut by the end of third Quarter, 2014 (i.e, September).
