Samsung appears to be preparing to launch a series of mid-range devices, including Galaxy A3 (2017) in the next couple of months. The device with model number SM-A320F has now received Wi-Fi certification, giving a clear hint that its release is not far off.

The certification has been provided just a couple of weeks after certification by Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). It has also been spotted on Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India, and benchmarking sites GFXBench and Geekbench.

The South Korean technology company hasn't revealed the release date of its upcoming Galaxy A3 (2017), but reports have suggested that it could be unveiled either in November end or December. Many may like to believe that the device will arrive in December as its predecessor will complete a year cycle by this time.

According to GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will feature a 4.7-inch screen, a 1,280x720 resolution, an octa core CPU clocking at 1.5GHz, an ARM Mali-T830 GPU, and an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

It is also reported that the device will come packed with an 8GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM, and mount a 12MP main camera with autofocus, face detection, flash and touch focus, and an 8MP front-snapper.

It may be mentioned that the Galaxy A3 (2016) sports a 4.7-inch Super-AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels (312 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.

Galaxy A3 (2017) also features a 16GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, a 1.5GB RAM, a 13MP main camera, a 5MP front-snapper, and a 2,300mAh battery.
