Changing their earlier decision, the makers of Sunny Deol's upcoming movie Bhaiyyaji Superhit have now decided to avoid a box office clash with the Salman Khan-starrer, Tubelight.

It has been reported that the filmmakers agreed with Sunny and his co-actress Preity Zinta's suggestion, and decided not to release the movie along with Tubelight.

"Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta are very good friends with Salman Khan so they suggested we don't release our film with Salman's as they don't want any clashes and either of the films to suffer," The Asian Age quoted producer Mahendra Dhariwal as confirming. He further said that the new release date will be announced soon.

Earlier, the producer had shown much confidence about his movie, and had confirmed that Bhaiyyaji Superhit will be released with Salman's Tubelight.

"In the past, we have had many instances when two films hit screens and both did well. Besides, we are presenting Sunny in a new avatar. He has a double role in the film and I am sure his fans will love him," Dhariwal was quoted as saying earlier.

It was also reported that the distributors of Sunny's movie were not comfortable about the idea of it clashing with Salman's big movie, but the makers were confident of Bhaiyyaji Superhit's content.

However, it now seems better sense prevailed over the makers of Sunny's film and they decided to avoid a clash with Tubelight.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight is a much-hyped movie as the director and actor have collaborated for the third time after the success of Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It is slated to be released on Eid this year, and this festival has always been favourable for Salman's movie release.
