Salman Khan has often been in controversy for his comments, and the superstar has now been slammed for saying that India and Pakistan should settle the differences with talks rather than going for war.

Salman was speaking at a promotional event of his upcoming movie Tubelight, which is also based on a war. During the event, he said that war brings suffering for all, adding that people who order war should be sent on the battlefield.

"In war, the armies of both sides lose their lives. The families are without their sons or their fathers. They have to love their whole lives without them. Those people who order war, they should be given guns and made to fight. Within a day, the conflict will end as their legs and hands will start shaking, and they will decide to resolve issues on the table," Salman said at the event.

Soon, series of reactions started coming in on Twitter. While some have been supporting Salman for his statement, many others have been trolling the actor. Although he did not specifically talk about India-Pakistan war, many have been linking it with Indo-Pak conflicts.

Some have slammed Salman saying that he made such a statement just before the release only to generate publicity for it. Many are calling him Pakistan supporter, adding that it is only Pakistan who first starts a war with India. Twitterati has been saying that bilateral talks with Pakistan have never been fruitful.

Some even trolled Salman recalling the allegations of animal poaching plus hit and run case, and now he is talking about peace. People have been calling him "criminal" who makes such statements just before the release of his movies. Check some of the reactions here:
