Ladies, who were hoping that Fawad Khan will comeback in Bollywood have reason to be disappointed. It looks like he has gone for good. There were rumours that Karan Johar was planning to cast Fawad in one of his upcoming movies, but now the buzz is Salman Khan replaced the Pakistani heartthrob.
According to DNA, Salman will be the lead face of Karan's forthcoming movie and that also opposite Katrina Kaif. Though they are the ex-lovebirds, they share good bond and will soon be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai this year.
Meanwhile, Salman-Katrina's fans would be happy to know that their favourite pair might be seen together in another flick. A source told DNA: "While KJo's next directorial will be with Ranbir Kapoor, he wants to produce a film with Salman and Katrina in the lead as he finds their chemistry sizzling."
"Earlier, the same film was to star Pakistan actor Fawad Khan along with Katrina, but with the ban on Pakistani actors during Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, that is not happening. Hence the filmmaker was keen to rope in Salman. The script is being reworked for Dabangg Khan and to make the character more suitable to him. The pre-production work on the film has begun," the source added.
In the meantime, Salman and Katrina are bus with their upcoming movies. Both of their individual films are set to be released. Salman's Tubelight will hit the screens on June 25, while Katrina-Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos to be released on July 14.
Then, the former lovers will be seen together in Tiger Zinda Hai in December.
