Salman Khan has been acquitted in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case and soon people on Twitter started reacting on the Rajasthan High Court's verdict.

The superstar was accused of killing a blackbuck and a chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998, but the high court has given him a clean chit owing to insufficient evidence against Salman.

Earlier, a lower court had found Salman guilty and he was awarded a five-year and a year jail term in the two respective cases of poaching. The actor had then challenged the verdict at the high court.

After being acquitted in the hit and run case, Salman is now again in news for making a safe exit from the blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases. While fans of the superstar are celebrating Salman's win in the case, several others have been expressing shock at the verdict.

Twitter has been flooded with varied reactions. While some ridiculed the legal system with funny but sarcastic comments, others credited Salman's star-power for being acquitted. However, there are also others who welcomed the judgement.

Salman is currently enjoying the success of his latest release "Sultan" that has made a box office collection of over Rs 500 crore globally. His next film is "Tubelight" that will be directed by Kabir Khan and the director has already started working on the project.
