Bollywood actors have not only ruled the film industry but also has rocked television shows. From Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, these superstars have shown that they can successfully anchor TV reality shows and connect to discerning viewers.   

Here are some actors who excel as hosts on TV shows: 

Salman Khan

Salman Khan has been hosting the most controversial reality show "Bigg Boss" for a long time compared to others. He was part of the show in 2010 and has been hosting it from 2011 to 2014. The star has also entertained audience with his first reality show "10 Ka Dum" in 2008-09.

Aamir Khan

"PK" star Aamir Khan brought a big change when he came up with the TV series "Satyamev Jayate". The show focussed on sensitive social issues and won the hearts of viewers and became very popular. Khan knows how to bring change whether it is through his films, commercials or TV shows.

Amitabh Bachchan

Big B has always been loved as the perfect host of "Kaun Banega Crorepati." The eight seasons of this most popular game show were appreciated mainly because of the megastar's presentation style. He played the perfect host in every season except the third, in which SRK was the host. 

Farhan Akhtar

"Oye! It's Friday!" was a talk show hosted by Farhan Akhtar. The show aired on 2008 and was entertaining in many ways. From Deepika Padukone to Shah Rukh, several celebs appeared on the chat show and many performed on stage. Unfortunately, it came to an end the next year itself.

Shah Rukh Khan

King Khan of Bollywood, who started his career with television, returned to the small screen in 2008 as a host for the game show "Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?" Seeing him with kids was a great fun. Then, in the third season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati", Big B was replaced by Shah Rukh. He did a good job as a host and entertained the audience in his own way..

Akshay Kumar

The daredevil Akshay Kumar hosted "Khatron Ke Khiladi" in the initial two seasons and the fourth one. He also launched TV reality show "Dare 2 Dance" this year. The actor has always appeared as a perfect host and entertained audience with his witty nature.
