While many of today's smartphones boast of latest technologies, battery life remains the primary concern. Lenovo is tapping into this segment by launching two new 'power-packed' budget smartphones - Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m.

The ultra-affordable Vibe P1m will go on sale for the first time in India exclusively on Flipkart on 28 October. The cost-effective handset priced at just Rs 7,999 packs impressive features, such as a mammoth battery measuring 4,000 mAh. This will easily attract a lot of attention in India as the rest of the specs aren't too bad after all.

Currently, Flipkart is accepting registrations for Lenovo P1m flash sale. Interested buyers must submit their details before the window closes on 27 October midnight. The sale commences at 3pm on 28 October.

Besides an impressive battery, Lenovo P1m features a five-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, eight-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 5MP front snapper. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor, which is backed by 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory.

The 4,000 mAh battery equipped in the Lenovo P1m features fast charging tech and claims to last 16 hours of talk time on a single charge. Additionally, the handset supports dual SIM, 4G LTE, OTG, microUSB 2.0 along with the usual sensors for GPS and others.

Lenovo is enjoying great response from Indian shoppers that resulted in the company selling three million 4G phones so far. This is quite an achievement. It is however, not surprising, as Lenovo phones are priced just right to attract the budget-conscious lot of the country.
