Royal baby 3: Kate Middleton hospitalized after experiencing early stages of labor

Royal fans, prepare to welcome Prince William and Kate Middleton's third born as the Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St Mary's Hospital in the wee hours of Monday, April 23, The Kensington Palace confirmed.

The official Twitter handle of the Palace shared that she was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington in London after she began experiencing "early stages of labor."

The palace further added that Kate was taken to the hospital by car from "Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

The royals had confirmed in September 2017 that Kate and William are expecting their third born. Later, the Palace confirmed that the baby will be born in April. There were speculations that Kate would welcome the newborn on April 23.

The couple has chosen to keep the sex of the baby under wraps. However, recently, William hinted that they were welcoming a baby boy after he said he wanted to name his child after his favorite footballer Jack Grealish. The royal said, "I'm going to insist the baby is called Jack." He then quickly added, ". . . "or Jackie."
