The Punjab and Haryana High court investigation board report on the Rohtak shelter home, Apna Ghar, has made shocking revelations. According to the report, children - many between five and 10 years - were forced to perform oral sex and naked yoga at the shelter home.

Earlier in May, the Rohtak Shelter Home was raided by a National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).

The probe report also said that around 101 women and children at the shelter home were subjected to sexual and physical assault. The inmates were reportedly used as construction labourers.

On June 1, the Haryana high court had constituted a four member advocates' committee, comprising of petitioner Utsav Singh Bains, Anil Malhotra, Puneeta Sethi and Sudeepti Sharma to find out cases of sexual abuse.

However, out of the four committee members, only Malhotra and Sharma presented their report in the high court on Wednesday. The shocking revelations of sexual abuse emerged only after they submitted the report.

The nonprofit organization was run by Jaswanti Devi who was arrested after the raid.

Malhotra and Sharma's report copy, obtained by The Times of India, said that most of the girls at the home were forced to garland men, saying they were "married," and also these girls were forced to have physical relationship with them.

The investigation also revealed that a woman, who was shifted from Apna Ghar to another shelter home in a nearby district, was found to be HIV positive.

"Some children between five and 10 years complained of sexual abuse, including oral sex, by Jaswanti's son-in-law Jai Bhagwan and driver Satish," according to the report.

The driver also filmed the inmates when they performed "naked" yoga, the report said.

The probe panel has now asked the High Court to arrange a special court for the expeditious trial of all the seven people arrested for sexual exploitation of women and children.

The panel has submitted 28-page report before the High Court and has asked the court to appoint a special judge and special public prosecutors for the speedy trial of the accused arrested.
