The Academy Award-winning actor seems to have fallen off the wagon again as reports have confirmed that Robin Williams has checked himself into a rehab facility for alcohol addiction.

It is reported that the 62-year old has been admitted to the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center near Lindstrom, Minnesota. However, according to sources close to the actor, he is not struggling with the sobriety problem.

"This is not about him falling off the wagon," a source told FOX411. "It's like an educational and spiritual facility... It's all very healthy."

It has been reported that Williams will be at the facility for at least a month.

"After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud," a Williams representative told TMZ.

The media started carrying Williams' rehab stories, after a picture of him posing with a fan got posted on Facebook. The photo was taken in a store close to the treatment facility in Minnesota.

The "Good Will Hunting" actor has struggled with addiction for decades.

During late 1970s and early 1980s, Williams was addicted to cocaine. He called it quits after his close friend John Belushi died of a cocaine-heroine overdose.

Till 2006 Robin remained clean but fell off the wagon again in August and checked himself into a rehab center, following which he revealed that he was an alcoholic.

Shia LaBeouf also checked into a rehab in Hollywood earlier this week for alcohol addiction. The 28-year old "Transformers" actor was recently arrested in New York and charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass at the Broadway show' "Cabaret".

The actor's representatives have maintained that LaBeouf was undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction. However, speculations are rife that he could be engaged in substance abuse as well.
