Rise of the Tomb Raider, the action-adventure video game that is a sequel to the 2013 video game gets new details on Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch DLC that was revealed courtesy Xbox and Crystal Dynamics at the recently held at the Game Awards 2015.

It released a new trailer that shows the content of the incoming DLC, Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch. The trailer features Lara Croft entering a cave that is possessed by mysterious powers.

This DLC boasts of new additions to Rise of the Tomb Raider. The DLC will also bring a range of new outfits, weapons and expedition cards.

Apart from this, there is also the Endurance Mode that will be made available on 29 December and Cold Darkness Awakened that will be available sometime in 2016.

Players must note that this DLC will be part of the Season Pass and it is also available as a standalone DLC for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Endurance Mode: This mode will see Lara's surviving skills as she fights off wild beasts and enemies both day and night. She has to scavenge for things to survive. It will also include a new outfit and a weapon. This will be available on 29 December, 2015.

Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch: The story of this DLC will be set in Siberian wilderness which sees Lara entering a forbidden forest that is infested with the magic of the witch Baba Yaga. Lara will face new enemies who are more deadly than the ones she faced earlier; there will also be a new puzzle-filled tomb. There is also a new outfit and a new bow. This will be available sometime in 2016.

Cold Darkness Awakened: Set in a decommissioned weapons research base in the Siberian wild that has transformed wild animals into beasts and men into killers. Lara has to beat these waves of enemies to survive. She will also need to scavenge for weapons and craft gears. This content will see new outfit and a weapon. It is expected to be made available in 2016.

Also in the inventory are expedition cards, new outfits and weapons skins.

Expedition Card Packs

  • Silver Expedition Card Pack – A set of 5 Expedition Cards, with one Uncommon Card.
  • Gold Expedition Card Pack – A set of 5 Expedition Cards, with one Rare Card.
  • Advantage Expedition Card Pack – A set of 5 Expedition Cards, each of which will give Lara a distinct advantage while playing.
  • Challenge Expedition Card Pack – A set of 5 Expedition Cards, each of which inflicts a restriction on Lara or another modifier that makes gameplay more difficult. Overcoming challenges will earn them bonus.
  • Wild Expedition Card Pack – A set of 5 Expedition Cards, each of which will have a highly unique impact on gameplay.

New outfits and weapon skins

  • The Siberian Ranger Pack â€“ This is currently available and will come with "Siberian Ranger" outfit.
  • The Prophet's Legacy Pack â€“ This comes with "Immortal Guardian" outfit and will be available in 2016.
  • The Ancient Vanguard Pack â€“ This comes with "Ancient Vanguard" outfit and will be available in 2016.
  • The Wilderness Survivor Pack â€“ This comes with "Nightshade" outfit and will be available in 2016.
