Is Rihanna really pregnant or is it just weight gain? RiRi's love for baggy clothes has set tongues wagging

Rihanna took to Instagram on Monday to prove that she won't let body-shamers get away with criticising her for looking curvier than usual.

Recently, an unflattering photograph of RiRi went viral and this had internet trolls targeting her for gaining a bit of weight.

Rihanna hit back at haters with a Gucci Mane meme that showed the rapper's changed physique. "If you can't handle me at my 2007 Gucci Mane, then you don't get me at my 2017 Gucci Mane," the caption read.

Sadly, the image that made Rihanna the target of body-shamers, also gave rise to speculations that she was pregnant with her first child.

Rihanna, who proudly flaunted her curves on social media in the past, has been wearing a number of baggy clothes in the recent times, and quite a number of followers seemed to think she has been taking extra care to hide a baby bump.

The singer is yet to comment on the pregnancy rumours but that hasn't stopped people from speculating who the baby's father is. Drake and Chris Brown are on top of the list of possible candidates.

Also, Rihanna has been vocal about wanting children someday.

"Yes, eventually. I mean, absolutely," Rihanna said during a chat with Ellen DeGeneres back in 2012. "Would you do it alone or do you want to wait until you're in a relationship or married?" DeGeneres asked.

"I mean, I would prefer to have a full family," the Barbadian beauty replied, adding: "I'm pretty sure I could handle it if I had to on my own, but that's not what I'm striving for."
