The Apollo Nida-Phaedra Parks relationship, and his sexting scandal involving Kenya Moore will form major plotlines in the upcoming season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," cast member Kandi Burruss revealed during a recent interview.

Nida is currently serving jail time for fraud, but before he surrendered himself, he allegedly met up with Moore to apologize for sexting her. And when asked about how this issue would be dealt in the upcoming season, Burruss told Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club: "There's a lot of stuff about that situation y'all going to find out on the new season so I can't really tell you," reported Wetpaint.

However, she did confirm that Nida and Moore did not sleep together. "There are some things that will be surprising about that situation that's gonna come on the new season. It's somethings that's gonna come back that you will see that you gonna be like 'Huh?'"

On whether she had encouraged Parks to divorce Nida, Burruss said that she hadn't, but admitted that their relationship is a topic of conversation in their household.

"I'm cool with Phaedra but Todd is cool with Apollo so this conversation gets heated sometimes," she said. "He and I debate about the situation."

The Nida-Parks marriage is as good as over, as Nida has hinted at the crumbling state of his marital life on more than one occasion. During an interview with Be100 Radio, when the host asked if his marriage to Parks would sustain the eight year separation, Nida answered that he was doubtful.

"I doubt it. I mean my wife didn't even show up for my f**kin' sentencing so you know I'm still kind f- I'm still salty about that," he said, according to Mstarz.

Similarly, in May he told Atlanta radio station V-103 that he does not expect Parks to wait up for him.

"I think Phaedra, in a perfect world, should be supportive as a wife should be... But if she chooses to derail from the plan, then that's what she chooses to do," he said. "Whatever's been thrown at me, I deal with it. I would like to say I would want her to stay around and do what a wife should do. But tomorrow's not promised."

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 debuts this fall.
