After Rangoon, Saif Ali Khan is set to win hearts in his upcoming movie, Bazaar. A few days ago, the poster of the movie featuring Saif garnered appreciation and now, the recent update is that the leading actress of the movie has been revealed.
One of the most talented Bollywood actresses, Radhika Apte, will work with Saif in the film, according to Mid-Day. Film's producer Madhu Bhojwani told the daily: "It is a performance-oriented character and we wanted someone who could take the audience by surprise. Keeping that in mind, we think Radhika fits the bill. She is a fine actress."
However, the makers didn't reveal whether the diva has been cast opposite the Rangoon actor or Vinod Mehra's son, Rohan Mehra. The movie is expected to be released either by the end of this year or early next year.
The film's director Gauravv K Chawla, a protege of producer Nikkhil Advani, said in a press statement: "Baazaar is a film meant for each and everyone who dreams of making it in the big bad world of Mumbai, and does so on their own terms."
It is said to be inspired by the 2013 Hollywood film, The Wolf of Wall Street. Set against the backdrop of the heady cocktail of city life in Mumbai and the edgy world of stock trading, the film stars Saif Ali Khan in a role that has been inspired from the folklore surrounding the markets.
Meanwhile, Saif is set to see the release his movie Chef on July 14. Radhika too is currently busy with the shooting of Padman, alongside Akshay Kumar.
