With the New Year just around the corner, automakers in India are all geared up to offer year-end promotional discounts on their models to woo customers. The first to join the bandwagon is Renault with huge discounts and offers.
Renault's year-end offers, what the company calls the Renault December Celebrations, include cash discounts, benefits, special gifts and finance schemes. While Duster RXL AMT gets price benefit of Rs 60,000 and gift cheque of Rs 60,000, all other variants of the SUV are offered with cash benefits of up to Rs 80,000. Duster also gets accessories worth Rs 5,000. Coming to Lodgy MPV, it gets the highest benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh in addition to the corporate bonus of Rs 7,000 and accessories worth Rs 5,000.
The offers on Renault's Pulse hatchback include Rs 40,000 cash benefits and accessories worth Rs 5,000. The hatchback also gets finance schemes with interest rate of 4.49 percent. For the Scala sedan, Renault is offering cash benefits of up Rs 90,000 in addition to accessories and finance schemes.
Renault Kwid, the hatchback that changed the fortune of the company in India, is offered only with finance schemes, which include 100 percent on road funding schemes from Renault Finance.
Meanwhile, Renault posted 23 percent growth in the month of November. The company sold 9,604 units in November, as against 7,819 units in the corresponding month last year. The cumulative sales figure for January-November stands at 120,991 units as against 43,555 units in the corresponding period last year, registering a growth of 178 percent.
