The hard-hitting "NH10" trailer has got everyone talking, and Ranveer Singh just can't stop praising  ex-girlfriend Anushka Sharma's action-thriller.

According to a Bollywood life report, the "Kill Dil" actor sent Sharma a text message appreciating the teaser of the flick. He was also heard talking about it at Sanjay Hinduja's wedding.

The gorgeous actress returned the favour by saying a few kind words about the energetic star. "I share an easy chemistry with him because we have known each other for so long. And that is something you see on screen, too. That is because we have a genuine fondness for each other. For me, it's great fun shooting with him because he has a lot of energy about him, which is very rare," Sharma said, DNA reports.

While reports of the two stars' mutual admiration is heart-warming, what is on the minds o most fans is whether their respective partners react to this. Virat Kohli might not have the time to react as he's busy hitting tons at the ICC World Cup 2015, but Deepika Padukone may be miffed with Ranveer's praises for his ex-ladylove.

However, some believe that since film stars are professional and mature there are slim chances that Padukone will react unreasonably. Especially, when it is known that Anushka and Ranveer are leads in Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do".

Meanwhile, This is the first time that Anushka is producing a film. "Oh, it was definitely the script that prompted me to turn producer. I wanted to give everything to the film. I want to back the film 100 per cent. I just wanted to get the film made. I didn't want to just take an actor's fee and be done with it," she told DNA.

In other news, Ranveer will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" for which he has been given a special look, whereas Anushka will essay the role of a jazz singer in Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet".
