'Varu Pokaam Parakkaam' of Aashiq Abu's "Rani Padmini", featuring Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal, was released by Muzik247 on Sunday, 27 September.

The music of "Varu Pokaam Parakkaam" is composed by national award winner Bijibal, while the lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahammed. The song was crooned by Shwetha Menon, Devadutt and Lola.

The travelogue, which does not have a hero as such, revolves around two women - Rani (Manju) and Padmini (Rima) - who are on a journey from Kochi to Himachal Pradesh. Though the duo are travelling to the same destination, they both have different purposes.

Manju Warrier had made a comeback with Roshan Andrrews "How Old Are You?" in 2014, followed by Sathyan Athikkad's "Ennum Eppozhum" opposite Mohanlal earlier this year.

On the other hand, Rima Kallingal's last film was a Malayalam spoof film, "Chirakodinja Kinavukal", directed by debutant Santhosh Viswanath. She had earlier worked with Aashiq Abu, who is her husband, in "22 Female Kottayam", which won her several awards.

The script of the Aashiq Abu directorial is written jointly by Shyam Pushkaran and Ravi Shankar. The cinematography of the movie is handled by Madhu Neelakandan, while editing was by Saiju Sreedharan.

The film, which is produced by PM Harris and VS Muhammed Althaf under the banner of Fort Entertainment, is slated for release in October.
