Based on the result of a recent poll, Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif beat Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone as the people's favourite real life couple.
Interestingly, the "Ram Leela" couple lost out by just seven votes.
"It was a very close call between Bajirao Mastani co-stars and RK-Katrina. However, the latter raced ahead and have won our survey. While Jr Kapoor and the Dhoom:3 babe got 46.67 percent of votes, RS and Ms Padukone received 46.64 percent of votes," reported Bollywood Life.
However, Aditya Roy Kapur-Shradhha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha, who were also in the race to become the most-loved celebrity couple, were not found anywhere close to the winner and the runnerup jodis.
While Singh-Padukone have been playing hide-and-seek with the cupid, Kapoor-Kaif are set to tie the knot in February 2015, according to fresh reports.
Rumours are rife that Ranbir's mother Neetu Singh, who is quite close to Kaif, is already preparing for the special day.
And the news that the much-in-love couple is now living under the same roof only goes on to cement the speculations. Calling Ranbir her "soulmate", Kaif further confirmed their equation but at the same time denied any plans of marriage.
However, the "Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani" couple will be seen next in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos", which will reportedly be shot in India over a span of three months.
The "Ram Leela" couple, on the other hand, mention each other as only 'good friends', and will feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" next. While Singh had earlier cleared the buzz on their alleged relationship, saying that marriage is definitely not on the cards, Padukone once reportedly stated that it feels amazing to be unconditionally loved by Singh.
However, Padukone put a fullstop to the speculations, when she said that she was misquoted by one of the journalists and that her answers were swapped.
''I was misquoted and the journalist himself called me and apologized. The journalist swapped the answer of one question to another. He in fact also said that he would be publishing a clarification in the next issue. Watch out for it because it would because that will be breaking news," Glamsham quoted the actress.
