"Bombay Velvet" is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of the year.
The makers of Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar starrer launched the trailer of the neo-noir mob crime romantic thriller on Wednesday, 18 March.
The trailer has created a lot of buzz and the video has been viewed more than 1 million times within two days of its release.
Following the positive responses, Ranbir organised a success bash on Thursday night in Mumbai, which was attended by the "Roy" actor's close friends and co-stars, including Karan, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Aarti Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Abhishek Verman, among others.
However, Anushka could not attend the party as she is in Bangkok for an ad shoot.
"Bombay Velvet" also has Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Raveena Tandon and Siddharth Basu in pivotal roles.
The upcoming Anurag Kashyap directorial is set to hit the screens on 15 May.
