The trailer of "Tamasha", which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, released on 22 September and it managed to cross over 1 million views within 24 hours.

The much-awaited trailer captured the audience's hearts in no time. Ranbir and Deepika, along with director Imtiaz Ali, attended the trailer launch event on Tuesday.

The "Barfi" actor, who was shooting in London for Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", came down to Mumbai for a few hours to launch his upcoming film's trailer.

As always, Ranbir and Deepika have charmed the viewers with their chemistry and their performance on the silver screen again.

This will be the first time the couple will be seen together on screen after their hit movie, "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" (2013). They first appeared together in Siddharth Anand's "Bachna Ae Haseeno" in 2008.

While Deepika is riding high with back-to-back hits like "Happy New Year" and "Piku", Ranbir is struggling at the box office as his last two films, "Roy" and "Bombay Velvet", have tanked.

However, it is expected that Ranbir and Deepika's collaboration will work wonders this time too, and the trailer of "Tamasha" indeed suggests the same.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, "Tamasha" reportedly narrates the story of a nomad (Ranbir) who meets Deepika in Corsica. The duo then sets off to explore the beautiful French island.

In the trailer, the two characters will face some fun-filled and emotional moments. Meanwhile, to unfold the actual plot of the story, one has to wait until 27 November, the day the film will hit theatres.
