"Pandaga Chesko" and "Rakshasudu" have made decent collection at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office in two days, but the Ram-starrer has an edge over the Surya-starrer.

"Pandaga Chesko", which created a lot of hype and expectations before its release, hit over 600 theatres across the globe on 29 May. The movie received a decent response with its occupancy ranging between 65 and 75 per cent on its opening day. The movie ran to packed houses at some centres. The film collected approximately ₹2.50 crore at the worldwide box office on the first day.

The Gopichand Malineni-directed flick garnered mixed reviews from the viewers and critics and the word of mouth took a toll on its business on Saturday. Its collection dropped around 20 per cent. As per the estimates, "Pandaga Chesko" collected approximately ₹2 crore at the box office on Saturday. Its two-day global total collection stands at ₹4.50 crore.

"Rakshasudu" is the dubbed version of Tamil film "Masss" (Massu Engira Masilamani) and it released in around 450 screens worldwide on 29 May. The movie opened to a decent response and collected approximately ₹1.75 crore at the global box office on the first day. But its opening day business seems to be lower than that of Ajith and Vijay's recent releases.

Like "Pandaga Chesko", "Rakshasudu" witnessed dip in its business on Saturday and collected approximately ₹1.45 crore at the worldwide box office on its second day. Its two-day global total collection stands at ₹3.20 crore. Trade experts described its business as average.

As per early trends, both "Pandaga Chesko" and "Rakshasudu" showed some amount of growth in their businesses on Sunday. Their collections are expected to be much higher than their earnings on first and second days. Stay locked to this space to read first weekend collection reports of these films.
