The much-awaited teaser of Ram Charan's "Govindudu Andarivadele" has been released.

Looking at the colourful teaser, one can expect that the film will be a complete entertainer with all the commercial elements. The teaser is sure to impress the fans and raise expectations surrounding the project.

Directed by Krishna Vamsi, "Govindudu Andarivadele" has Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The hit pair has teamed up for the third time for this project post the success of "Magadheera" (2009) and "Naayak" (2013). Both films were big hits at the box office. Particularly, "Magadheera" amassed more than ₹70 crore share and is still considered as one of the biggest hits of the Telugu film industry. It will be interesting to see whether Ram Charan-Kajal pair strikes gold at the box office once again.

"Govindudu Andarivadele" also boasts of an interesting supporting cast, including Prakash Raj, Meeka Sreekanth, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Adarsh Balakrishna, Jayasudha and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles.

The film is a family entertainer with Ram Charan playing the role of an NRI. He has teamed up with the director for the first time.

Actor Venkatesh was initially approached to play the role of Ram Charan's uncle. However, the actor apparently decided not take up the role as it did not justify his image.

"I was supposed to do Charan's uncle's role, but as the entire unit, and the director later felt the role might not suit my image, I decided to back out. GAV has a superb story line, and will surely be a huge hit," Venkatesh was quoted as saying by 123telugu.

"Govindudu Andarivadele" shooting is progressing well and is expected to be completed soon. The film is all set to hit the screens for Dussehra festival period in October. It is expected to have grand openings upon its release. However, it might face some strong competition from Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu," which is slated to hit theatres on 26 September, a week ahead of "Govindudu Andarivadele" release. Fans and trade experts will be eager to see how these films fare when they lock horns at the box office.
