New Delhi, Sept 06 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday reacted over, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's letter to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah seeking land for Kashmiri Pandits. Rajnath, in his letter to Omar suggested that the land may be identified near the respective native places the Kashmiri pandits migranted from. Rajnath Singh had also advised that such areas must be selected taking into consideration, the availability of adequate security in close proximity of the place. At present there are about 62,000 registered Kashmiri Pandit families in the country who migrated from the Kashmir Valley to either Jammu, Delhi or to other parts of the country due to militancy in the state in early 1990s.
