The Shahenshah of television Rajat Tokas of "Jodha Akhbar" tied the knot with his girlfriend Srishti Nayyar in January.

Rajat plays the lead role of Akhbar in the hit periodic drama series "Jodha Akhbar". The couple tied the knot in the presence of family members and relatives at a grand wedding ceremony at the Janana Mahal in Udaipur Palace, according to reports.

The sangeet, mehendi, wedding and reception were held at the Udaipur palace. The wedding ceremony started with sangeet on 28 January, followed by mehendi and wedding on 30 January.

The actor took a break of 15 days from the show for the nuptials. Not many from the television industry were invited for the wedding as the actor wanted to keep it a family affair.

Among the guests were his colleagues Kaif Ali Khan and Chetan Hansraj. However, the lead actress of the show and his co-star Jodha aka Paridhi Sharma was missing from the scene.
