Near Death Experience Research Foundation (NDERF) is a website that is known for publishing astounding near-death experience (NDE) testimonials shared by victims all across the globe. Recently, the website published an experience shared by a nurse named Sabine, where she claims that her NDE experience had her floating above her own body.

In the testimonial she shared, Sabine claims that her near-death experience occurred after she fainted on a very hot day. The woman who is a nurse by profession says she saw her own body lying down with people standing around. Sabine also added that the colours she saw were more bright and intense than real life

"I found myself above my body. I felt so free and light. I had the inner conviction that I was in the state of real life. It seemed like my life on earth was more like role-playing. I could clearly see my environment there, which is normally, totally impossible for me to do without glasses. The colours were so much more intense and clear than on earth. At the moment when I looked down towards my body, I felt a strong pull. I was being pulled back into my body," wrote Sabine on the NDERF website.

Sabine also revealed that her near-death experience was entirely pleasant. As per the NDE victim, she clearly left her body and existed outside it. She also claimed to have experienced more alertness and consciousness during the NDE. Her thought processes were so much faster than usual during the near-death experience, she added.

This is not the first time that a person is sharing their near-death experiences on the NDERF site. Recently, a woman named Anni claimed to have seen a flowery meadow during an NDE, and her testimonial went viral online.

Many spiritualists believe that these testimonials shared by NDE victims are authentic proof of the existence of an afterlife. These spiritualists argue that the human soul will remain intact even if it leaves the body, the real life of humans starts after death, they say.

However, medical experts have a different explanation. During life-threatening events, the human brain will face difficulties to obtain sufficient oxygen, and visual hallucinations usually occur when the brain performs a survival technique to acquire more oxygen.
