Project CARS, the racing simulation video game from developer Slightly Mad Studios, has announced the availability of a new Japanese Car Pack that will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions.

The addition of the Japanese Car Pack adds premium oriental touch to its ever-expanding car roster of the game that released on 7 May, 2015.

The Japanese Car Pack will cost $3.49 and it will be inclusive of the following cars:

  • 2015 Scion FR-S Rocket Bunny Edition (Free)
  • 2015 Toyota GT-86 Rocket Bunny GT Edition
  • 2014 Toyota TS040 Hybrid
  • 2012 Toyota GT86 / Toyota 86
  • 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX FQ-360

In June, Slightly Mad Studios had announced a sequel to Project CARS, called Project CARS 2. It said that it will be launching a crowdfunding campaign of the game, following the footsteps of Project Cars. This game, it promised, will feature more tracks and modes than its predecessor.

The recent reports have suggested the possibility of Project CARS 2 getting VR support as Oculus Rift game.

More recently, we saw the game developers dropping Aston Martin Track Expansion Pack to Project CARS. This brought us three legendary Aston Martin cars, namely Aston Martin DBR1, 2009 Aston Martin DBR1-2 and 2014 Aston Martin Vantage GTE. The pack also added a new location to the game -- Mojave circuit from Nevada, US, which features Banked Oval, Drag Strip, Hillclimb, Skid Pan, and Tight Corner sections.
