Priyanka Chopra is on a roll in the United States. After appearing on American talk shows The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live, PeeCee will now appear on the famous The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Priyanka will appear on the show to promote her hit American TV show Quantico. Priyanka confirmed the news by retweeting a post that read the tentative list of the upcoming guests on Ellen DeGeneres show. According to the tentative list, Priyanka is expected to appear on October 25 and Miley Cyrus on October 27.
The former Miss World has achieved international fame with Quantico. She had appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show twice – in March and September.
Soon, she will make her first appearance on Ellen's show and become the first Bollywood celebrity to attend the chat show. But it has to be noted that she is not the first Indian to appear on Ellen's show.
Before PeeCee, two kids from India featured on the chat show. A six-year-old chef from Kerala wooed Ellen with his cooking skills. Nihal Raj aka Kicha, who became an internet sensation with his culinary talent, is the youngest Indian to feature on Ellen's show.
Ellen posted a video of the chat show featuring Kicha on her Facebook page and said, "This kid is a cutie. He showed me how to cook in his puttu kutti."
Another Indian who made it to the international platform is Akshat Singh. The India's Got Talent finalist was invited to be a part of The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2014. Akshat, who is known for his dancing skills, was approached after his performance on Salman Khan's songs went viral. Akshat was just eight-year-old when he appeared on Ellen's show.
