Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas may have split for good, but it looks the model's parents are still hopeful that the couple might get back together.

If the latest reports are anything to go by, it seems the 25-year-old model's parents – 1960s model Lady Mary Gaye Curzon and Old Harrovian businessman Jeffrey Bonas – are not quite happy with her relationship with Edward Holcroft.

According to Daily Mail, Bonas is upset with her family as they are reluctant to meet her actor boyfriend. Since their disapproval comes amid rumours that they are still hoping that their daughter will rekindle her romance with Prince Harry, reports have suggested that it could very well be because Holcroft is not a Royal.

'Cressida is upset with her parents because neither have met Ed. Cressie is really into Ed and desperately wants her parents to meet him and for them to approve. She has been giving them the full silent treatment," a source said.

The source further reasoned as to why the model's parents are reluctant. "They are not convinced she should be with an actor. I think they feel actors tend to be flighty and non-committal."

Cressida Bonas and Edward Holcroft have been dating since June and confirmed their relationship by making it public with their PDA at the Wimbledon a couple of weeks ago.

The report also said that Bonas' parents should be considerate and give the actor a chance and a seal of approval for their relationship.

"The thing that is so baffling is that there is nothing not to like about Ed. He's Hugh Grant handsome, has been singled out by Harvey Weinstein as the next big star, and is a fabulous actor with a great future," another source said.

"Usually they are very welcoming of Cressida's friends. Harry spent quite a bit of time at Jeffrey's house in Norfolk. Mary and Jeffrey got on well with Harry. They approved of him," the source added.

Now, we don't know if Cressida Bonas will rekindle her relationship with Prince Harry under her parent's pressure.
