The season 6 midseason finale of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" is one of the most anticipated episodes, as it will finally reveal the identity of the hooded villain known as A.

The summer finale will also answer why A has been torturing the Liars in addition to revealing the people who have been helping A take down the girls.

But a section of fans are still apprehensive if the summer finale entitled "Game Over, Charles" will solve the puzzle, as this is not the first time executive producer Marlene King has hinted at an A reveal. She is also famous for lying to fans on more than one occasion.

Take for instance the time when she promised that Mona was really dead. But the character came back on the show in the season 5 finale when it was revealed that A has been keeping her a prisoner.

But this time King seems ready to put her lying days behind her. Taking to Twitter she announced, "There are no lies in my future. This is the summer of answers."

In yet another tweet she teased what's in store for the Liars, saying "as we get closer to the end, A get's more and more ballsy."

The summer finale will also answer all the questions that have been posed during the show's five-year run, the official synopsis of the episode hinted.

"Who killed Toby's mother? Who hit Alison in the head with the rock the night she went missing? Who is Red Coat? Who killed Bethany? Who is the Black Widow? Why has 'A' been targeting the PLLs all this time? After years of torture, Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer finally come face-to-face with their tormentor and learn the story of how and why Charles became 'A,'" the synopsis reads.

"Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesdays on ABC Family. The midseason finale will air on 11 August.
