Tuesday's episode of "Pretty Little Liars" hinted at what many fans had been suspecting since the mid-season break – Mona could be alive!

"Pretty Isn't the Point" saw Aria confronting her brother after she found him hiding a vial of Mona's blood in a tree, which led to Mike confessing that Mona had saved her blood to frame Alison for her murder.

This, he said, was all part of Mona's plan to gain the trust of the elusive "A" and later draw him or her out. So when Mona died, Mike presumed that it was all part of her plan and continued leaving her stuff at their designated meeting places. But Mona never showed up; and Mike is now somewhat convinced that his girlfriend has been killed by "A".

He is also sure that Alison is not "A" as she was away from Rosewood on the night of the murder. This will prompt the Liars to embark on a Save Alison mission, but it is easier said than done.

Here is what the next episode, "Bloody Hell", has in store for the Liars: "Equipped with their new information about Mona, the Liars decide they need to speak to Alison. But once the truth is out there, Aria quickly learns that Mike's involvement with Mona and this new revelation could have serious repercussions for her family. Determined to keep Mike safe and get Ali out of jail, the Liars intensify their search for information on A."

Fans have no definite answer on who the mysterious "A" could be, but there are a number of theories and the show's producers recently hinted that some of these theories could be right. But identity of "A" will be revealed only in Season 6.

"I know a lot of people were afraid that they would have to wait until the end of season seven to find out who Big A is, and we made it clear that they don't," executive producer Marlene King told E! Online. "You will find out before season seven and the story of Big A."

"I can't wait to share the story," she added. "The identity of Big A is really cool, but to me, what I always loved most about Big A is the story of Big A, the motivation, what's behind it all. I haven't been that excited to share something with the fans since Mona's reveal."
