There are just three more episodes of Pretty Little Liars left to air before the grand finale, where we'll be given the answer to one of the biggest mysteries plaguing fans for the past few episodes. The identity of Uber A, otherwise known as AD, will be revealed in the finale, and we'll also find out why he/she has been tormenting the Liars since their return to Rosewood.

The show has been dropping hints about AD's identity for a while now, and according to Brendan Robinson, all one has to do is rewatch the series to find out who the villain is.

"I won't tell you what specific clues there are but there are hints that have been dropped for a long time," Robinson told ET, adding that he was "thrown off" when he first found out who AD was

"When I found out who it was, I hadn't read the script yet, because it was a couple weeks in advance and it didn't make total sense to me at first," he explained. "And then, when I saw the script and I read it and we all sat down - and the people that are involved in those scenes do a really, really phenomenal job - all the questions are answered and it made sense."

Robinson also explained that after A.D.'s identity is revealed, the show will take viewers down Rosewood memory lane and highlight some A.D. moments that might have been missed. Robinson also revealed that the finale will consist of a number of flashbacks that will aid in revealing why AD turned against the Liars.

Could Lucas behind the elusive villain? Robinson doesn't negate the possibility but said that the finale will show Lucas in a positive light. "I'll say this, if he is involved, I think it's for a good reason," he said. "He is trying to protect Hanna for a good reason."
