The family drama "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, has now achieved another milestone at the box office. The gross income of Salman's film has touched Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box office.

The overseas box office collection of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" stands at $ 8.9 million (Rs 59 crore). The overseas figure is of four-day (opening weekend), as the makers have not released the first week overseas box office collection.

"#PremRatanDhanPayo India nett: ₹ 129.77 cr. India gross: ₹ 191 cr... Overseas: $ 8.9 million [₹ 59 cr]. Worldwide gross: ₹ 250 cr. AWESOME!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figure.

At the domestic box office, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" earned Rs 172.82 crore net income in its extended first week. Since its net box office collection is Rs 172.82 crore, the gross income has crossed over Rs 250 crore mark.

According to Koimoi.com, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has grossed around Rs 259 crore in its extended first week.

Adding the gross overseas and domestic box office earnings, the worldwide total of Salman's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has crossed Rs 300 crore. The overall box office earnings accumulates to Rs 318 crore (Rs 259 crore + Rs 59 crore).

The film is now looking forward to break the lifetime box office collection record of Salman's "Ek Tha Tiger" (Rs 320 crore) and Hrithik Roshan's "Bang Bang" (Rs 340 crore).

Directed by Barjatya, the film features Salman and Sonam in lead roles, while Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Armaan Kohli, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal are supporting actors.
