Kannada actress Tejaswini Prakash, who was recently spotted with Prabhu Deva has denied rumours that she is in a relationship with the choreographer-turned-director.
It was recently rumoured that Prabhu Deva was dating Tejaswini, after photos of the duo at a party in Chennai surfaced. But the actress says that they are just friends.
"Prabhu and I are just good friends. We call and message each other occasionally, and meet when he is in Chennai," the actress told The Times of India.
Tejaswini says the photos posted on social media websites sparked the speculations.
"Since my work has been taking me to the city often, I happened to be there on two occasions that he too was in town, and I got invited to the parties he had held at his place. I had posted some pictures from the event on my social networking page and that's when people started speculating," she added.
Prabhu Deva has also denied the rumours linking him with Tejaswini.
The actress will be next seen in director Shanshank Raj's upcoming Kannada movie "Goolihatti".
She is happy that Prabhu Deva has assured to watch the movie. "He's just very supportive and appreciative of my work and has even promised to watch my upcoming Kannada release. There's nothing more to it," the actress gushed.
Prabhu Deva is busy with the shooting of his action comedy film "Singh is Bliing" featuring Akshay Kumar, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Lara Dutta and Amy Jackson in lead roles.
His recent party in the city was attended by his close friends Shankar, KS Ravikumar and Sundar C and Jayam Ravi, Jiiva and Raai Laxmi.
However, reports indicate this is not the first time Tejaswini was spotted with Prabhu Deva. The two have been seen together a few times in the past also, suggesting the relationship goes beyond friendship.
