Similar to the on-screen love in the ancient fictional kingdom of Mahishmati, fans were happy to learn that Prabhas and Anushka Shetty were getting hitched in reality too. But little did they know that they will be disappointed.
Though we loved the pair on-screen, the duo is not seeing each other nor they are tying the knot. According to reports, Anushka was upset with the whole issue.
She is so miffed that she had found out who was behind the rumours and fired the person. It is being said that someone from her staff had spread the false news.
Bollywood Life reported that Anushka had previously responded to her marriage rumours and stated: "It has become a routine for the media to link me with all the stars I work with."
Well, these rumours are the part and parcel of every actor's life, but one should know how to deal with it. Meanwhile, Anushka and Prabhas are one of the top pairs in the film industry and through Baahubali franchise, they have made a name in the global market as well.
A few days ago, it has been reported that Anushka was supposed to do a Bollywood movie with filmmaker E. Niwas, but it got shelved.
He told Deccan Chronicle: "That movie is not happening right now. It's is about a juvenile and has to have a newcomer. We couldn't work around both these things. The budgets couldn't be worked out either."
Niwas further said that the movie will happen in future but now it has been put on the backburner. "Anushka is now a star all over India and not just down south. It would be a great experience to work with her. Right now, the project is on a backburner," he added.
